Funding

At An-Najah National University (ANNU), a significant and growing portion of research funding is directed toward interdisciplinary research initiatives, ensuring robust financial support for cross-disciplinary projects.

Through internal university funds, national research grants, and international funding bodies, ANNU prioritizes interdisciplinary research, enabling faculty and researchers to access the necessary resources for cutting-edge discoveries and impactful collaborations.

From 2019 to 2024, the estimated allocated budget for interdisciplinary research increased from 35% to 61% of the total research funding. This substantial growth reflects ANNU’s commitment to advancing interdisciplinary studies and fostering collaboration across diverse scientific fields.

Funding covers key research expenses, including:

  •  State-of-the-art lab facilities and specialized equipment for interdisciplinary research.

  •  Research grants to support faculty and student-led interdisciplinary projects.

  • Collaborative initiatives with international institutions, industry partners, and research consortia.
