Medical and Religious Cooperation

In our research group, we focus on studying the effects of religion and spirituality on health and medicine, and how religious practices influence the processes of healing and treatment. Here are some aspects that these research interests might cover:
Religion and Medicine:
- Studying the impact of religious beliefs on general health.
- How religious rituals affect disease prevention or treatment.
- Researching the intersection of religion and psychiatry, and how faith influences the treatment of mental illnesses.
Religious Practices:
- How religious practices such as prayer, meditation, and fasting can affect physical and mental health.
- The impact of adherence to religious habits on lifestyle and overall health.
Spirituality:
- Researching the role of spirituality in the healing process, and how spirituality can be linked to complementary medicine.
- The relationship between spirituality and mental health, such as how spiritual beliefs affect coping with stress and life challenges.
Religious or Spiritual Healing:
- Studying the effect of spiritual treatments (such as prayer therapy or energy healing) in treating physical or mental illnesses.
- Researching how to integrate traditional medical treatments with spiritual or religious methods to provide holistic treatment.
These fields combine medicine, science, and religion, and are of particular importance in societies that integrate religious practices into their daily lives and believe in their impact on healing and personal well-being.
